“Throughout our 5 years of dating, we have taken multiple trips to a spot in Arcadia, Florida to camp with our friends and dogs along the Peace River. During what I thought was another usual trip, we spent the day riding horses throughout the 1000 acre area we camp on, and at night settled in by a fire at our campsite. My boyfriend is a musician, so him playing guitar / singing around the campfire is pretty much always expected. After playing an older song, he said he was going to play a new one so his buddy could take a video of it. I sat next to him as he played, and it ended up being a song he wrote specifically for me, with a proposal built into the end. He ended the song on one knee with my dream ring!”
